To All Weymouth Families,
I am writing to share valuable resources that may help you or someone you know manage the emotional distresses of yesterday’s events. Please know that all children respond in different ways and these resources will provide insight for you to help you and your child.
During these times, children are often aware that something has occurred but are not equipped to process and understand the events and the powerful emotions that they are experiencing. Below are some websites that offer concrete guidance on how to talk with your child about traumatic events.
Over the next few days we will be actively working on putting together additional resources. If you have specific questions about how you can support your child, please do not hesitate to reach out by sending an email to:

We recently participated in our annual visit from the Department of Early Education and Care. We were recognized for our exemplar programs and our comprehensive community needs assessment. Thank you to all who participated in focus groups and completed surveys to support us. We are excited to continue our high quality programming and support you as your child's first teacher.
